Meet Our Founder
Eldonie S. Mason, Esq., a native of the Caribbean island of Antigua, established Mason Firm, LLC with the idea that legal services should be personal and accessible.
She works with her clients to position them for long-term success by advising them on their legal risks, protecting their rights and interests and anticipating situations or activities that may negatively affect their careers and the bottom line. Further, Eldonie has advised her clients on copyright, trademark, branding and contractual issues that often arise and help them establish a solid legal, insurance, financial and tax foundation.
After noticing a void in the marketplace for personalized estate planning services, Eldonie added estate planning to her repertoire to ensure that her family, friends and community have the proper planning in place in the event of their incapacity or death to keep their loved ones out of court and out of conflict. Through Eldonie’s estate planning process, clients can rest assured that she will design a plan that will work for them and their families when they need it most and are not just given a set of documents.
Eldonie graduated magna cum laude from New Jersey City University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Pre-law and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. After law school, Eldonie worked as a Litigation Associate in a Florida law firm, where she primarily handled contractual and civil litigation matters.
Eldonie is also an arbitrator for the Civil Court of the City of New York Small Claims Part and is a former arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the American Arbitration Association Commercial Panel where she primarily heard entertainment law related disputes.
Additionally, Eldonie is a professor having taught Music Publishing, Licensing and Copyright at York College of Pennsylvania. In 2020, Eldonie founded Predestined Media, LLC to create and distribute diverse content. Her first project is a children’s book “The Adventures of Princess Anyah of Antibarba: The Fishing Expedition” which tells the story of a 6-year-old Black princess from the Caribbean who goes on adventures.
Eldonie loves cooking and has auditioned for “Bobby Flay’s Best Home Cooks in America” and the “24 Hour Restaurant Battle”. She has a passion for entertainment, business and fashion and is committed to serving clients with Diligence, Perseverance and Dedication!
